What is marine collagen?
Marine collagen is rich in Type I collagen fibres, which is the major form of collagen in the top layer of our skin, as well as bone, tendons and connective tissue. Type I accounts for 90% of the collagen in the human body. It is thought to be absorbed 1.5 times more efficiently than other sources of collagen.
What are the benefits of type I collagen?
Type I collagen is the building block of our skin’s structure, making up around 80% of our skin’s dermal layer.
